My interest in fitness began in high school when I decided to join a gym with my friend. I began to see physical changes in my body, which encouraged me to continue. However, it was the way exercise made me feel that motivated me never to stop. I felt more energetic and more motivated in all aspects of my life.

My post-secondary education began with an Automotive diploma at Centennial College. However, I soon realized this wasn’t the career I was passionate about. During this time, I continued my health and fitness journey and decided to apply to the Health and Fitness Promotion program at Humber College.

After completing my diploma, I became CANFIT certified and began personal training adults and youth athletes with a focus on strength and conditioning. By also pursuing massage therapy, I have a deeper understanding of how the body functions, which gives me a greater appreciation for the health and fitness field.

For me, being a personal trainer is about helping others become confident in themselves and their abilities.

I believe in promoting healthy and active living and educating others on the most effective way to incorporate this lifestyle into their current routines.

I believe that to be successful in achieving your health and fitness goals, you need to have a growth mindset. You need to believe that your abilities are a starting point and that through hard work and dedication, you can improve and develop these abilities.

The BBD program works because it’s attainable, efficient, and effective which every client wants. It also invites each client into a community that is supporting and encouraging, which leaves every client and trainer feeling appreciated and further motivated.
