Hey! Kris Simpson here, Caroline Bodies by Design personal training. We’re here with the High-Five-Fitness Tip. Today’s tip is all about butts and thighs. This is the top five butt and thigh exercises ever invented. We’re going to start off with my favorite. I think it’s Caroline’s favorite, too. It is the common squat. If I had only one exercise to deliver to our clients for a butt and thigh exercise, it would be this one.
The squat is great for glutes. It’s great for the thighs and it can easily be turned into our second top butt and thigh exercise, which is the wide stance squat. So, just taking a dumbbell and placing it between your thighs and go into that horizontal positive where the knees and hips meet, this is how you do the wide stance squat. Great variation.
Number three in the top glute and thigh exercises has to be the stationary lunge. I think this one works the glutes a little bit more than it works the thighs. Would you agree?
But still a great glute and thigh exercise. And number four, for the five best glute in five workouts, this one’s called the step up. The step up is extra difficult, that’s why I love it so much. That’s why Caroline loves it so much and you can actually have a few variations.
This is the standard step up, but we can actually do an alternate step up. Use the other leg, as well and we can really get this interesting by doing a knee up. At the point where she gets on top of the box, the knee comes up, just another third variation that you can work with on this really technical challenging exercise called the step up.
Number five, on the top five glute and thigh workouts is actually a circuit of three different exercises. You can see Caroline is doing a fire hydrant, a straight leg kick back and then a kick up. This is a great way to end your workout. It’s a great cool down, after you’ve done your squats and your lunges and it actually brings us to number five of the best five glute and thigh workouts.
So there you have it. That was the top five glute and thigh exercises of all time. So, that brings us to the end of this segment. Until the next High-Five fitness tip, keep your head up and have a high-five day.
