Jessie from Bodies By Design demo’s a high intensity plyometric workout which is a great athletic workout for those people short on time!
This is Jessie from Bodies By Design with today’s GRIP Tip. Today we’re going to be working plyometric high intensity interval training circuits.
What we’re going start out with is some of the core of plyometrics which is box jumping. The first stage you’re going to jump from box to box touching the ground in between. The next stage, ladder runs. The first time through you’re going to be putting both feet in each square going straight through to the end. After that, you’re going to drop down and you’re going to do 10 push-ups. After the push-ups you’re going to jump over the hurdle. Once over the hurdle, you’re going to do 20 crunches.
You’re going to jump back over the hurdle, another 10 push-ups, running back through the ladder going side to side the whole way through then you’re going to back into the boxes jumping up first onto the large box, the medium box and then the small box. Again, this is a high intensity plyometric workout, good for getting in an athletic workout in a short period of time!
