Ever since I was a young child, martial arts has inspired me to be the best I can be and has provided me with the Tenets of Taekwon-do: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. I am a 3rd degree black belt and have been dedicated to Taekwon-do for over ten years, which has made me the man I am today.
I am currently enrolled in humanities and articulation courses at Seneca College and York University, which have given me deep analytical skills. In the words of Albert Camus, “You cannot create experience, you must undergo it.” As a personal trainer I have gained a sense of what it feels like to help people reach their goals. It is a wonderful experience to see someone liberated from oppression and transcend unhealthy habits. Being a part of that process and building rapport with new people really makes me feel humanitarian.
The secret to succeeding is commitment, not interest. Incorporating proper nutrition as well as cardio and resistance training into a balanced lifestyle with the support of loving people is the key to staying happy and healthy.
