Full- Time Personal Trainer – NO SELLING REQUIRED

Bodies By Design Personal Training, the City of Vaughan’s largest personal training studio since 1998, is recruiting a Full-Time Personal Trainer.  With more than 10,000 square feet of dedicated personal training space, the studio currently serves 1,000 clients and performs up to 150 personal training sessions per day. We are now in our 14th year of business, steadily expanding, and are in need of TWO full-time Personal Trainer. Candidates must hold a current personal training certificate or have a college or university education relevant to the health and fitness industry.  Candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply.   Compensation includes an hourly wage of up to $20 per hour plus a trainer productivity bonus. NO SELLING REQUIRED. Our personal trainers are not required to sell personal training sessions.  Sales for new and renewing clients is provided by our Sales Team. Inside Sales Representative

Bodies by Design Fitness Studios has been one of the GTA’s largest personal training studios since 1998 and we are recruiting a full-time Membership/Personal Training Sales Coordinator.  Start with a base of 400 active clients and an unlimited amount of prospects.  Candidates must have a minimum of 2 year sales experience.  A background in fitness is preferred but not mandatory.  Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary of $20,000/year plus commissions and a potential of earning $50,000-$60,000 per year.  Hours rotate from daytime to evening shifts and every other Saturday (40 hrs/week). Full Benefits are provided along with reimbursement for continuing education.

Customer Service Representative

Bodies By Design Fitness Studio and Physio Clinic in Woodbridge www.bodiesbydesign.ca are recruiting a full-time Customer Service Representative for morning and afternoon/evening shifts:

Morning Shift:

Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 3:00 PM
Friday 6:00AM – 2:00 PM

Afternoon/Evening Shift:

Monday – Thursday 2:00PM – 10:30 PM
Friday 1:00PM – 9:00 PM

Customer service/receptionist experience is required and administration experience is beneficial. Candidate must have basic computer knowledge in Word/Excel/Outlook, typing skills and good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills along with having an interest in health and fitness.

Compensation includes a starting salary of $24,000/year plus 10% commissions on sales in our Smoothie bar with a potential of earning up to $2,000 extra per year. A full benefits package will also be provided.

Job description includes:

1. Customer service duties
2. Operation of the Smoothie Bar.
3. Booking short term client schedules.

Objective
To become a Personal Trainer and work in the dynamic field of Health and Fitness.

Strategy
STEP 1 ٠ enroll in the Can Fit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist course www.canfitpro.com

STEP 2٠ when your course enrollment is completed contact Mark Kravjansky (mark@bodiesbydesign.ca) to set up theory tutorial sessions and practical shadowing sessions.  We will go through the Can Fit Manual together to prepare you for the theory exam as well as prepare you for the Can Fit practical exam by allowing you to shadow our Personal Training Team and learn technique and proper spotting practices.

STEP 3٠ TAKE THE EXAM!

STEP 4٠ You will enter into Bodies By Design’s official hiring process with the goal of becoming the newest BBD team member.

Approximate Timeline٠

• Complete Can Fit course: 3-4 days
• Complete theory and practical training for certification testing: 1 month
• Complete hiring process: 1 month
• TOTAL TIMELINE: approximately 2 months

Expected Income٠ $30,000-$40,000 per year. This is based on continuing education, experience, performance and commitment.
