Melissa - Personal Trainer Woodbridge Ontario

Melissa wants to make a difference in peoples lives!

It was hard at first to change what I was used to doing for such a long time, and I did struggle with trying to be active every day and stick to eating better. As the weeks went by it started getting easier and when I started noticing changes after a couple of months, there was no looking back because the way I was feeling both physically and emotionally was the best I have ever felt.

When I approached my second last year of high school, I decided I would do my co-op placement at a gym beside my house, which was the best decision I could have made since it is the reason I am in this field today. Every time I stepped into the gym, I felt so much better mentally, and when I left the gym, I felt so much better physically. Seeing how this made a positive impact in my life I fell in love with the fitness industry and I knew I couldn’t do anything else but work in a gym.

The reason I wanted to work in the fitness industry and became a personal trainer is that the gym had such a positive impact on my life and if I could help make a difference in other people’s lives that would be the most rewarding thing to me in my life.

I am so excited to be a part of the Bodies By Design team because this is a facility that cares about each and every member and they make it their goal to create changes that last a lifetime. My goal for the clients is for them be their success story and for them to know that they are not going through this journey alone; they have the whole BBD team with them every step of the way. The first step is always the hardest but once you start and see results it becomes an addiction.
