CB060675Men, if you’re looking for a 6-pack you’ll need a body fat percentage of 10% or lower, and women, you’ll need 15% or lower.  It is easier for most women to have a 6-pack than men because they generally carry less body fat on their midsection. Sorry guys, this time the women win!

Fat has 9 calories per gram

Stock PhotosDid you know that dietary fat has 9 calories per gram vs. carbs and proteins which contain only 4 calories per gram?  Although dietary fat does not normally cause the weight gain that carbohydrates could, be on alert when consuming high fat products and keep your intake moderate because at the end of the day, calories do count! P.S. for the record, since Christmas is around the corner I think you should know that alcohol contains 7 empty calories per gram!
