Does eating turkey cause sleepiness?

turkeyThis is a large misconception.  Although turkey does contain tryptophan, an amino acid that is a precursor for serotonin production and is associated with causing sleepiness, it is more about the heavy meal and excessive carbs then the turkey that causes sleepiness.
